The Alliance for Childhood promotes policies and practices that support children’s healthy development, love of learning, and joy in living. Our public education campaigns bring to light both the promise and the vulnerability of childhood. We act for the sake of the children themselves and for a more just, democratic, and ecologically responsible future.
The Anthroposophical Society in America is the national organ of the General Anthroposophical Society, founded by Rudolf Steiner in 1923 as "an association of people who would foster the life of the soul, both in the individual and in human society, on the basis of a true knowledge of the spiritual world."
The Association of Waldorf Schools of North America provides leadership to schools by facilitating resources, networks and research as they strive towards excellence and build healthy school communities. AWSNA inititiates and maintains relationships with groups seeking revitialization of education for all children. This site has information on Waldorf education, membership, events, resources and publications.
